This blog has been on my mind for some time. However, on September 23, 2019 I decided to finally do it. The first blog post was a long time coming titled "Though He Slay Me." I hope at some point you can take the time to read it.

The reason I decided to title this site, "Small Potatoes" is because it comes from my favorite verse:

 

2 Corinthians 4:16-18. 

"So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever."

You see, the hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times!! So, come with me on this journey through life, picking up little spuds and learning how to make them into dishes full of beautiful reminders. Reminders that God is greater than our troubles, and our sorrows are given to us to share His gospel.
